Checking Accounts

Express Checking

• Fee: None

VIP Interest Checking

Fee can be avoided with Direct Deposit or if a minimum daily balance of $500 or more is maintained.

• Fee: $8 per statement cycle

Choice Interest Checking

Fee can be avoided if a minimum daily balance of $5,000 or more is maintained.

• Fee: $15 per statement cycle

Savings and Investment Accounts

Regular Savings

Fee can be avoided if a minimum daily balance of $500 is maintained. There is no service fee for customers age 50 and above.

• Fee: $12 per quarter
• Fee: $2 for each withdrawal over 3 per quarter

Youth Savings

• Fee: $2 for each withdrawal over 3 per quarter

Easy Save Account

• Fee: $10 for each withdrawal over 3 per quarter

Certificates of Deposit

• Fee: Penalty for early withdrawal equals 180 days interest on the outstanding principal balance. On CDs 6-12 months, penalty equals 90 days interest on the outstanding balance.  On 3 month CDs, penalty equals 30 days interest on the outstanding balance. 

Choice Money Market Accounts

Fee can be avoided if a minimum daily balance of $2,500 or more is maintained.

• Fee: $12 per statement cycle
• Fee: $15 will be assessed for each withdrawal over 6 per statement cycle

IRA Plus

• Fee: None

Miscellaneous

ATM Transactions

• Fee: None with use of F&M  ATMs
• Fee:   $1.50 for each withdrawal when using foreign ATMs
• Fee:   $2.75 for each ATM withdrawal made outside the U.S.

Non-Sufficient Fund Items (NSF)

• Fee: $35 per item ($175.00 maximum charge per day)

Overdraft

• Fee: $35 per item ($175.00 maximum charge per day)

Continued Overdraft Fee

• Fee: $7 per day account balance is negative

Overdraft Privilege

• Fee:  $35 per item paid or unpaid ($175.00 maximum charge per day)
• Fee:  $7 per day account balance is negative

Overdraft Protection

• Fee:  $7 per transfer

Stop Payment/Stop Payment Renewal

• Fee: $35 per item

Returned Deposited Item

• Fee: $6 per item

Wire/Cable Transfers

• Fee: $20 for domestic (outgoing)
• Fee: $50 for international (outgoing)

Account Balancing Assistance

• Fee: $20 per hour

Account Activity Printouts (Statements/Checks/Deposits)

Dormant Account

Early Account Closing
